My wife and I have been Rhinebeck homeowners for 33 years and love everything about our unique Town. For several decades I practiced law handling major real estate transactions for private and not-for-profit organizations. A member of the Board since 2017, I have been privileged to apply my experience to a number of projects. I led our work with the New York Power Authority and Central Hudson to recently complete the conversion of our 102 street lights to modern LED lighting. Our new lighting provides more targeted illumination for improved safety, saves the Town around $20,000 a year, and lessens our reliance on fossil fuel. I also worked on a survey of all Town owned land to check for viability of Community Solar and other Green Projects on it to make us more sustainable. I want to look at New York State’s new 5G wireless technology in the hope of being able to provide coverage to the dozens of “cell-blind” areas in the Town and bring better cell service and internet access to everyone. I’d like to continue to serve on the Board and would appreciate your vote on November 2.
