THE RHINEBECK DEMOGRAM, 2003-2008//

From September 2003 to June 2008 – 21 numbers in all - the Rhinebeck Democrats published the newsletter, The Rhinebeck Demogram, and sent it to the email boxes of subscribers who ultimately totaled 328. The primary goal of our newsletter was to advance the growing sense of community and purpose among Democrats in Rhinebeck Town and Village.

We are archiving it here on the website because, in large part, it achieved that goal and is now part of our local party’s history.

Many of the matters discussed in The Demogram’s pages are still alive and some major issues are still unresolved. Over the years we have written about the Rhineson property, consolidation of town and village government, the Dutchess County Fairgrounds, the launching of the Dutchess Democratic Women's Caucus, HAVA and voting machines, and members' items in the state senate, among many other topics.
